Alistair is a highly-experienced, award-winning, queer, working class and disabled artist, originally from Manchester, now living in East London. They trained at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, as well as on The Royal Court’s Invitation Writers Group, and also completed an MA at RADA/Birkbeck. In the past they have made work for organisations such as The BBC, Sky Arts, The National Theatre, The Old Vic, Barbican Centre, Shoreditch Town Hall, Arcola Theatre, and Curious Monkey, amongst many others. A lot of Alistair’s work focuses on themes of grief, sickness, intimacy and intoxication. They are the former Head of Artist Development at The Old Vic; and are currently leading on all talent development at Punchdrunk, working in the UK, internationally and digitally. They are an Associate Artist at The National Youth Theatre, a Connect Artist for RTYDS, a Trustee for Boundless, and a Script Reader for The Bush Theatre, Theatre Uncut, and The Papatango Prize. Alistair is the Founder and Creative Director of WoLab, and to date, they have raised over £1.75m in funding for various artistic projects.

Kaleya Baxe is a writer, director and facilitator whose work is driven by her passion for representation, inclusion and collaborative kindness. As well as working on outreach and youth  projects with the Young Vic, Kiln, and Arcola Theatre her work often shines a light on important subjects (Patricia Gets Ready (for a date with the man that used to hit her) and has toured schools, youth settings and pupil referral units (Written, Little Fish Theatre). As an assistant she has worked with acclaimed writers such as Chinonyerem Odimba (Artistic Director, Tiata Fahodzi) and Mike Bartlett (Doctor Foster, Life). Kaleya recently finished her placement as the Paines Plough Trainee Director 2020/21 and is currently working on her first writing commission exploring ‘Black Voices in Myth’ with company Actors of Dionysus. Her work as a director includes; 786 by Ric Renton (Paines Plough R&D, LAMDA), Patricia Gets Ready (for a date with the man that used to hit her) by Martha Watson Allpress (VAULT Festival Show of the Week Award Winner) and Written by Alex Cooke (Little Fish Theatre, Schools and Youth Settings Tour.
